The client approached us with a critical need: to create an accessible, AI-powered threat assessment tool that could help both professionals and everyday individuals evaluate violent or self-harm-related risks. Existing tools in the market were either too complex or inaccessible to non-experts, leaving a gap in preventive support for early warning scenarios.
We developed a streamlined AI Threat Assessment Tool that guides users through a 35–45 question chatbot interface, designed to assess different threat categories—such as workplace violence, intimate partner violence, and self-harm. Using an AI-powered weighted scoring system, the tool generates a one-page risk report (Low to Critical), with actionable recommendations. The UI was kept professional and simple, enabling clarity during emotionally intense assessments.
The MVP successfully democratized access to threat assessment techniques, giving individuals and organizations a fast, data-driven way to evaluate threats. The platform's structured scoring and AI integration ensured consistent outputs, while built-in CCPA compliance and a formal UX tone supported credibility and privacy.
